night (tele)vision...

last night, at around 2 a.m., both my kids simultaneously decided to wake up and not go back to bed.  considering myself a fairly decent and hip mother, i chose not to make an issue of it and let them sit up a while. providing them the opportunity to join me in watching one of life's little pleasures - kappa mikey.

they were so thrilled, they could hardly contain their excitement.

ben, sweet ben.  you know i love you with all my heart.  and if there is one morsel of wisdom i can impart to you in which you'll carry forth the rest of your life, it is this:

the hannah montana sunglasses would stay on better if they were sitting on top of your ears.  also, balance your jewelry.  if you have a bracelet on one hand, put the ring on the other.  that will distribute the weight while you play piano.  a little lipstick wouldn't hurt, either.

one question.  is this because i listened to too much scissor sisters when i was pregnant with you?
