it's the only place close enough of interest. we'd do all the usual touristy type stuff: navy pier, shedd aquarium, lincoln park zoo, frank lloyd wright's houses, the field museum, sears tower, etc. and, of course, i can't forget my three favorite stores - anthropologie, ikea and sephora. then we'd let out the inner barbarian at the medieval times.

3 cool people had this to say...:
Hey, I'll be in Chicago for an interview on Feb 20th. Maybe I'll visit all those places for you and tell you how they were
would this interview be for school? good luck! i absolutely love chi-town. several times a year i present my argument to orhan as to why we need to move there. he's starting to consider it but would prefer someplace warmer. one great thing about the medical field, one can pick up and go anywhere. shedd aquarium is fabulous. it's right next to both the planetarium (made famous by obama's pork money request) and the field museum (which has sue, the largest fully complete t-rex...and it's the real bones on display, not casted models) just watch ferris bueller's day off for other suggestions of interesting places to see whilst there.
Yeah, it's a school interview. I will actually be in North Chicago, which is closer to Wisconsin than Chicago. Cami and I went to Chicago this past summer and loved it. What an awesome city. And clean, too.
