sophie poured on the charm and daddy caved and finally bought her a bike (since i had already gotten ben a scooter and he is MUCH more accident prone/reckless than she is). she was so excited and they both had a blast doing laps around our building. she did kiss the pavement (literally) once when she took a turn too fast, but otherwise it was a stellar maiden voyage. and surprisingly, he mastered the scooter in no time. we are very grateful for the lack of carnage that we were sure was going to come of this...

I feel for the dad. It will take very little charm for my daughter to get anything she wants out of me. I'm in trouble. I guess you are just lucky your kids have an excellent sense of balance
